The AEG IKX64441CB 6000 60cm induction hob features the clever Bridge function, which links two cooking zones together to fit any large or long pan. The bridged zone will share the same temperature and time setting. Plus, AEG’s Hob2Hood® technology wirelessly links the IKX64441CB hob to a compatible hood for automatic extraction.

The Bridge function combines two cooking zones together to accommodate larger cookware. Sharing the same temperature and time setting, the linked zones are ideal when you’re cooking for dinner parties or bigger celebrations.

The Hob2Hood® function connects your AEG hob and hood. The cooker hood automatically adjusts the fan speed based on the heat from the hob, without you lifting a finger, providing powerful extraction when searing, and quieter extraction when simmering.

The PowerBoost function gives you an instant burst of heat. PowerBoost is perfect for tasks that require you to boil a large pot of water quickly, so there’s no more waiting around for pots to boil.

The Direct Touch Controls uses intuitive numbers (1-14), so you can set the right temperature right away without having to toggle through the plus and minus buttons. The built in hob timer can be set up to one hour, and will automatically power the hob down when it elapses for effortlessly precise results.

To maximise kitchen safety, the Child Lock can be activated to prevent the hob from being turned on accidentally. Plus, the Control Lock will prevent any alteration or activation of the hob’s settings; simply lock the controls once the cooking functions have been selected. It can also be used to lock the hob in the off position for added safety.
